Карнозаври

Карнозаври (Carnosauria) — інфраряд хижих ящеротазових динозаврів, що існував у юрському і крейдяному періоді. Спершу таксон запропонований для широкого спектра гігантських хижих тероподів, що не були тісно пов'язані між собою. Зараз група включає всіх аллозаврів і їх близьких родичів.

Зовнішній вигляд Allosaurus - типовий для карнозаврів

Усі карнозаври мали великі очі, великий, вузький череп. Стегно було довше за гомілку.
