Опис
За своєю будовою схожі на представників роду чагарниковий веслоніг (Philautus). Лише у 2009 році на основі молекулярного філогенетичного аналізу, а також деяких особливостей забарвлення й поведінки цих веслоногів визнано як самостійний рід.
Розповсюдження
Мешкають у південній Індії та на о.Шрі-Ланка.
