Trachischium

Представники роду трапляються в гірських регіонах Бангладеш, Бутану, Китаю, Індії та Непалу.

Змії з роду Trachischium демонструють такі ознаки: голова не відрізняється від шиї; око маленьке, з вертикально субеліптичною зіницею; ніздря між двома маленькими носовими порожнинами; іноді об'єднані передфронтали; корпус циліндричний; спинна луска гладка, в 13 або 15 рядах, без верхівкових ямок; вентральні луски округлі; хвіст короткий; підкаудальні луски поділені; 18–20 верхньощелепних зубів; задні нижньощелепні зуби коротші за передні; гіпапофізи розвиваються по всьому хребетному стовпі.
