Гімн Південного Судану
Гімн Південного Судану був обраний комітетом Народної армії визволення Судану [2]. До того у серпні 2010 року був оголошений конкурс на проєкт гімну країни. Прийняттю гімну передував референдум про незалежність Південного Судану [3]. Переможцем був оголошений проєкт студентів і педагогів Університету Джуби «Oyee!»", назва якого дослівно перекладається, як «Ура!» [1].

Історія
До комітету надійшло 49 заявок на участь у написанні гімну [5]. Попередня назва звучала, як «Земля Куш», на честь давнього Королівства Куш, яке існувало на цих територіях з IX чи VIII сторіччя до н. е. по IV сторіччя. Врешті решт переможцем конкурсу було визнано твір студентів та вчителів Університету Джуби [1].
