Строкатий королець[3] (Poecilodryas) — рід горобцеподібних птахів родини тоутоваєвих (Petroicidae). Представники цього роду мешкають в Австралії та на Новій Гвінеї.[4]

Етимологія
Наукова назва роду Poecilodryas представляє сполучення слів дав.-гр. ποικιλος — строкатий і δρυαδος — дріада.[6]
