Oestroidea — надродина двокрилих комах підряду Коротковусі двокрилі (Brachycera)[1]. Відомо понад 12000 видів. Зустрічаються по всьому світі. Мерон з вертикальним рядом щетинок. Латеротергіти з волосками. Жилка A1 переднього крила не торкається до його краю.
