Thiomargarita

Thiomargarita — рід грам-негативних протеобактерій родини Thiotrichaceae. Це велетенські сульфат-відновлюючі бактерії, що живуть на океанічному шельфі. До роду відновиться вид Thiomargarita namibiensis та два кандидати Thiomargarita nelsonii і Thiomargarita joergensii.[3]
