Біографія

Гарольд Ернест Робінсон народився у 1932 році у місті Сірак'юс, Нью-Йорк[8].

У 1955 році Робінсон отримав ступінь бакалавра в Університеті Огайо, у 1957 році — ступінь магістра в Університеті Теннессі, а у 1960 році — ступінь доктора філософії у Дюкському університеті. Він зробив значний внесок у ботаніку, описавши багато видів рослин[9].

Наукова діяльність

Гарольд Ернест Робінсон спеціалізується на мохоподібних, водоростях та на насіннєвих рослинах[5].

Почесті
