Хіропрактика

Хіропрактика — одна з форм альтернативної медицини, що в основному займається діагностикою і лікуванням механічних розладів опорно-рухової системи, особливо хребта.[1][2] Її прихильники стверджують що такі розлади впливають на здоров'я загалом через нервову систему.[2] Такі твердження не підтверджуються науковими доказами. Основними способами лікування в хіропрактиці є мануальна терапія, особливо спинні маніпуляції, та маніпуляції суглобами і м'якими тканинами.[3] Основи хіропрактики суперечать офіційній медицині, і базуються на псевдонаукових ідеях, таких як "зміщення хребта" та "вроджений інтелект", що не базуються на надійній науці.[4][5][6][7][8]
